Grammy Award-winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has responded to the extravagant celebrations held by his colleague Wizkid during his mother’s burial party in Lagos.
Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has been a prominent figure in online discussions over the past week due to his lavish spending at the burial party.
The event was attended by numerous prominent individuals in Nigeria, and a substantial amount of money was spent, with a highlight being when Wizkid showered bundles of money on fuji icon K1 De Ultimate.
Following the somber occasion of his mother’s burial, Wizkid engaged in nightlife activities, celebrated the birthday of his partner Jada P in Nigeria, and had quality family time at a beach in Lagos State.
However, he grabbed headlines with his entrance at a luxurious club in Lagos, where he arrived with three of his luxury cars worth billions of naira.
In response to Wizkid’s grand display, Burna Boy shared photos and videos of his Rolls Royce and Lamborghini on his verified Instagram page.
He captioned the post, saying, “To cut a long story short, DEY PLAY!” accompanied by a series of images and videos showcasing his opulent automobiles.
