Tope Maggie, the chef based in Ogbomoso, Oyo, has initiated a 200-hour cooking marathon in a bid to establish a new world record.
Maggie made the announcement of his ambitious cooking marathon attempt through an Instagram post on Thursday evening.
Accompanied by several pictures and videos, he reached out for support for this challenging endeavor.
The cooking marathon is currently underway at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club in Ogbomoso, as indicated in the accompanying flier shared by Tope.
Initiating the attempt at 6 pm on Thursday, Tope Maggie, a chef known for his culinary skills, has already surpassed 10 hours of continuous cooking.
The flier also suggested that the chef has sought the approval of the Guinness World Records (GWR) for this record-setting feat.
