    Salawa Abeni introduces third husband during birthday celebration

    In a recent news report, Salawa Abeni, the renowned Nigerian singer, introduced her third husband, Rasheed Adahunse, during his birthday celebration.

    While the exact date of their marriage remains undisclosed, it is believed that the couple tied the knot four years ago.

    Adahunse, who currently holds the position of comptroller and commandant at the Customs Training College, marked his birthday and retirement with a celebration in Lagos over the weekend.

    Salawa Abeni shared a video of her performance at the event on her Instagram page, extending congratulations to her husband on his retirement and birthday.

    According to a blog report, the Waka Queen referred to Adahunse as her “dearest husband of four years” when asked about him.

    The 62-year-old singer expressed gratitude, stating that she believes she made the right choice and emphasized that “love conquers all.”

    During the celebration, Abeni shared her sentiments about their journey together, stating, “I saw you then as a complete ‘English’ man, you saw me as a musician.

    But love conquered all. I have not chosen wrongly.” She concluded her remarks by adopting a new name, stating, “From today, call me Abeni Idunu Ishola.”
