Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has asserted that the experience of having an abortion is a common one among women.
She revealed that most women have undergone abortion at least once or twice in their lives.
Phyna, who openly discussed her past abortion during her time in the Big Brother House, shared that some individuals attempted to use this revelation to criticize her after the show.
However, she remained steadfast and refused to be bullied.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Phyna expressed, “When I came out of the Big Brother House, everybody wanted to chase clout with Phyna.
Everybody was ready to do sh*t. When I was in the House, there was a conversation, everybody was talking… Before I even come back to that.
The issue of abortion, na who open up dem know, right? There’s no woman that can say she hasn’t done abortion once or twice.”
Phyna’s comments on abortion became a topic of controversy during the “Level Up” reunion when she had a heated exchange with another participant, Chichi, who referred to her as an “abortionist.”
In response, Phyna made allegations against Chichi, claiming she was a divorcee who had left her husband and children in Benin to pursue a career as a stripper in Lagos.
