Nigerian singer Mr Real has taken to Instagram to accuse his colleague Idowest of stealing his hit song ‘Legbegbe’ and hindering his career success.
In a post, Mr Real claimed that Idowest falsely asserted ownership of the song, preventing him from reaping the financial rewards of its popularity.
According to Mr Real, Idowest followed a similar pattern with another collaborator, Slimcase, preventing both artists from profiting as they should have.
He expressed frustration over their inability to afford houses on the island due to Idowest’s alleged greed.
Mr Real demanded an apology from Idowest for what he described as “wrong deeds” against him and Slimcase.
He accused Idowest of being ungrateful and heartless, recounting instances where the fellow artist claimed ownership of ‘Legbegbe’ and allegedly excluded Slimcase from the video shoot of their collaborative song.
In the Instagram post, Mr Real said, “You have to come and apologize to me and Slimcase for what you have done to us. Make me, you and Slimcase make we no fit boast house of our own.
We sef suppose get house for island, ‘Legbegbe’ was everywhere, but with your greed, you did not allow us to make money.”
