Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has emphasized that nobody is permitted to take his son’s body for burial without his explicit authorization.
The statement was made in a video shared on TikTok on Sunday.
In the video, Aloba asserted, “When this boy was alive, he was my son. When he’s gone, he still retained my name. Nobody should go there and take his body, please.”
He cautioned against any attempts to remove MohBad’s body without his consent, insisting that he will be the one to authorize any actions related to the late singer’s remains.
This declaration comes in response to calls from singer Bella Shmurda and actress Tonto Dikeh, both requesting the release of MohBad’s body for burial. MohBad, aged 27, passed away on September 12.
