Nigerian music sensation Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has opened up about his longstanding industry rivalry with fellow artist Davido.
The ongoing debate among fans regarding who holds the title of the biggest artist between Wizkid and Davido has fueled tensions between the two stars over the years.
However, the “Essence” hitmaker, renowned for his success and wealth, recently addressed the issue in an old video, emphasizing that he has more important matters to focus on than engaging in beef with anyone.
In the video, during an interview, Wizkid was asked if he would have a drink with Davido. In response, he asserted that he holds no grudges and is on good terms with everyone.
He stated, “I’m cool with everyone. If you pray for me, I will pray for you, but if you swear for me, I will swear for you too. I have a son, a three-year-old son, I have more important issues to deal with in my life. I’m not into beef or online drama; I have real-life problems. I’m just trying to survive and live my life. I’m a gentle boy, and I’m living my life quietly.”
