The Recording Academy, organizers of the Grammy Awards, has bestowed the title of the biggest artist in Africa upon Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy.
With four nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards, including two for Best Global Album, Burna Boy’s global influence and collaborations with international stars like Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber are highlighted.
The Grammys assert that there is currently no larger star in the Afrobeats genre or the entirety of Africa itself than Burna Boy, recognizing his significant impact on the global music scene.
