Joshua Sunday, the Nigerian skit maker better known as De General, has finally reacted to his recent ordeal with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
On January 12, operatives of the NDLEA had raided the skit maker’s Lagos home in a drug bust.
He was later charged with three counts of trafficking tramadol and cannabis sativa and convicted of the charges by a federal high court in Lagos after pleading guilty.
But the court had held that the volume of substance was minimal to warrant a sentence and cautioned the defendants to “go and sin no more”.
In a video shared via his Instagram page on Tuesday night, the entertainer thanked everyone who supported him during his ordeal with the NDLEA.
He also enjoined the public to disregard the claim that he is a drug trafficker, adding that “I only traffic laughter and comedy.”
