In a recent incident, Nigerian singer and rapper, Logos Olori, found himself in a serious car accident in Lekki, Lagos. The artist, who is signed under Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), confirmed the incident via his Instagram page on Sunday.
Sharing images of his damaged vehicle, Olori expressed his gratitude for being alive and mentioned that his label boss, Davido, had assured him of a replacement car. He also used the opportunity to call attention to the deteriorated state of the Lekki road, which was the site of the accident.
He wrote, “Thank God for life. Only one Godfather 001 @davido. New whip on the way. Make them try do Lekki road.”
It’s worth noting that Logos Olori’s debut single, ‘Jaye Lo,’ stirred controversy in July when its video featured scenes of people praying and dancing in front of a mosque.
This led to backlash, particularly from members of the Muslim community who found it disrespectful. Subsequently, Davido removed the video from his social media platforms and produced a new video for his artist in response to the criticisms.
