In a recent statement, well-known social media commentator Daniel Regha expressed his concerns about the popular Nigerian reality show Big Brother Naija, suggesting that it has been instrumental in creating celebrities whose moral values are questionable.
Regha’s comments were prompted by the appearance of BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye at singer Davido’s Martell party.
The internet has been buzzing with discussions about Ilebaye’s choice of a revealing dress for the event.
During his critique, Regha remarked, “Ilebaye should have stayed at home if she had no better or decent outfit for the Martell Party; her dress was absolutely disgusting.
Again, this is the type of role model BBNaija is producing and promoting—someone with low moral values. But it’s not her fault, though; Nigerians championed her.”
